I photographed Miss Ellie for her entire first year! I also had the honor of being there to capture memories at her first birthday party as well! It was a super cute Very Hungry Caterpillar themed party, and her Mommy did a great job planning! I'll certainly miss seeing her smiley face now that I'm in TX!

So thankfully Ellie's Mommy suggested I actually get in a pic too!

Ellie - 9 months

Baby Clay{One Year}: a special place in my heart

So if you haven't been following me for a while you may not know that Baby Clay was the very first newborn I ever shot.

When I decided I wanted to pursue my photography business, a good friend of mine had just had her baby boy and agreed to let me use him as my "guinea pig".

Now as any photographer will tell you, we all start somewhere so I wouldn't be submitting any of those  newborn photos into a contest or anything, but to me (and probably his parents) they are special all the same.

I also asked if I could follow Clay for the year (every 3 months) so that I could have an example of a "grow with me" client.

Now my year with Clay is over, and I will miss him, but no worries because Mommy has another baby coming that I'll be able to shoot in January ;)

Nathaniel | 9 months, Samantha | 5 years

This session got done in 2 parts because the scheduled day of our session we got rained out 15 minutes in. Boo.

So we had to do a take 2 and I'm glad we did because we had a perfect evening for it :) We ended up doing both siblings this time because while Nathaniel turned 9 months, big Sis Samantha turned 5!!

{Clay} 9 months

Clay is my very first Grow with Me client so of course you've been seeing him every 3 months since he was born! Here he is at his 9 month session, which we decided to do outdoors this time. 

It ended up being a really hot hazy day but this little guy is so photogenic and cooperative that we were done before we knew it and back in the AC!

Nathaniel is one of my Grow With Me clients so I get to see him every 3 months! 

Here he is at 6 months, and I'll see him again for 9 months!

{Ellie} newborn

I had such a great session with little Ellie!

I was supposed to meet up with her Mama in March for her maternity session, but this sweet little thing had other plans. She decided she was coming to this party early.

Sooooo, we waited until she was home from the hospital and healthy, and at 6 weeks old I finally got to do her newborn session :)
